Cubiks Logiks is now part of Talogy’s cognitive ability assessment range. You may still see “Cubiks” in an employer invitation, candidate portal, or older material. Logiks measures verbal, numerical, and abstract reasoning under short section time limits. It is not a personality test.

The 45 questions on this page are original educational practice questions. They are not official Talogy or Cubiks questions, do not reproduce a live assessment, and do not reveal employer scoring, norms, cut scores, or selection decisions.

AptitudeTests.org is an independent preparation platform operated by TestsCareers. It is not Talogy or Cubiks. Preparation cannot guarantee a score, interview, or hiring outcome.

What Is the Cubiks Logiks Test?

Cubiks Logiks is a timed cognitive ability assessment used in employer selection. Employers may assign Intermediate or Advanced formats, and older materials may still use the Cubiks brand name.

Cubiks Logiks Quick Facts

Topic Current guidance
Current provider brand Talogy
Historic name candidates may see Cubiks Logiks
Levels Intermediate and Advanced
Main abilities Verbal, numerical, and abstract reasoning
Talogy public overview 20 to 50 items and 12 to 25 minutes, depending on version
Intermediate candidate practice format 50 questions in 12 minutes, split into three 4-minute sections
Advanced candidate practice format 30 questions in 20 minutes, split into verbal, numerical, and abstract sections
Exact assigned format Follow the employer invitation and live test instructions

Talogy’s public product overview confirms that Logiks is available at Intermediate and Advanced levels and can assess general, verbal, numerical, and abstract ability. It gives a flexible range because organizations can assign different configurations. The official candidate practice pages provide the commonly used 50-question Intermediate and 30-question Advanced structures described below.

Is Cubiks Now Talogy?

Yes. Talogy is the current provider brand. “Cubiks Logiks” remains a useful search and invitation term because Cubiks was the earlier brand associated with Logiks. The name change does not mean every historical screenshot, prep product, or format claim is automatically current. Use the test name and instructions in your invitation as the final authority.

Logiks is different from PAPI. PAPI is a work-related personality and preference questionnaire, while Logiks is a cognitive reasoning assessment. If your process names PAPI as well, see the Talogy PAPI Test.

Logiks General Intermediate

The Talogy candidate practice materials for Logiks General (Intermediate) describe 50 questions in 12 minutes. The test is divided into three separately timed four-minute sections:

Intermediate section Questions Time
Verbal reasoning 24 4 minutes
Numerical reasoning 16 4 minutes
Abstract reasoning 10 4 minutes
Total 50 12 minutes

The timing is deliberately tight. Intermediate questions can be short, but a candidate has little time to recover from a difficult item. Read the instructions, work quickly, and use the live interface rules about moving on or returning to items.

Logiks General Advanced

The Talogy candidate practice materials for Logiks General (Advanced) describe 30 questions in 20 minutes:

Advanced section Questions Time
Verbal reasoning 12 8 minutes
Numerical reasoning 8 8 minutes
Abstract reasoning 10 4 minutes
Total 30 20 minutes

Advanced questions may require more reading, calculations, or simultaneous pattern rules. The abstract section retains a short time window, so a methodical visual scan remains important.

Intermediate versus Advanced

Feature Intermediate Advanced
Common candidate-practice total 50 questions / 12 minutes 30 questions / 20 minutes
Section timing Three 4-minute sections Verbal 8, numerical 8, abstract 4 minutes
Relative pacing Extremely speeded More reading and calculation time per item
Typical difficulty Short, fast items Deeper or longer items
Which one you take Employer invitation Employer invitation

Standalone Advanced Logiks Tests

Some Talogy and practice materials describe longer standalone Advanced verbal, numerical, or abstract modules with higher item counts and longer limits. Do not combine those standalone figures with the three-section Advanced General battery. Treat standalone Advanced modules as possible alternate configurations only when your invitation names them.

Logiks Verbal Reasoning

Verbal questions test how accurately you work with written information. Depending on the version, this can involve word relationships, vocabulary, meaning, classification, or conclusions based only on a short passage. Do not use outside knowledge when the question tells you to rely on the text.

Build the underlying skill with verbal reasoning practice.

Logiks Numerical Reasoning

Numerical questions can require arithmetic, percentages, ratios, rates, tables, charts, or number patterns. The issue is usually not advanced mathematics. It is selecting the relevant numbers and completing a sound calculation quickly.

Use the numerical reasoning guide to review core calculations and data interpretation.

Logiks Abstract Reasoning

Abstract questions test the ability to identify rules in shapes, symbols, sequences, or grids. Look for changes in number, position, rotation, shading, direction, or alternating rules. The written practice set below uses ASCII symbols only, so it tests the same rule-finding habit without copying proprietary visual designs.

Continue with abstract reasoning practice.

How Many Questions Are on Logiks?

There is no single fixed count for every invitation. Common candidate-practice structures are 50 questions for Intermediate General and 30 questions for Advanced General. Talogy’s public overview also shows a broader item range because organizations can assign different versions. Use the live counter and invitation title.

How Long Does Logiks Take?

Common candidate-practice totals are 12 minutes for Intermediate General and 20 minutes for Advanced General. Talogy’s public overview also cites a 12-to-25-minute range across versions. Your invitation controls the live timing.

Are Sections Timed Separately?

On the common Intermediate and Advanced General candidate-practice structures, yes. Each reasoning section has its own limit. Do not spend Intermediate verbal time on a later numerical item.

Can You Use a Calculator?

Follow the live instructions. Do not assume a calculator is allowed or forbidden for every Logiks administration.

Can You Skip Questions?

Follow the live interface rules for the assigned version. Do not invent a universal skip rule from a practice product.

Can You Return to Previous Questions?

Navigation depends on the assigned interface. Check whether the live test allows review before you leave a section.

Are Wrong Answers Penalized?

Do not assume a universal penalty formula. Employers and Talogy reporting control score interpretation. When unsure, follow the on-screen instructions and avoid random guessing only if the invitation tells you guessing is harmful.

How Is Logiks Scored?

Talogy does not publish one universal scoring formula for every Logiks candidate. The hiring organization decides which level, module, comparison group, report, and selection standard applies.

What Is a Good Logiks Score?

There is no publicly universal “good” Logiks score for every employer. A high score on an online practice set does not predict a job offer.

Is There a Passing Score?

Avoid claims about a universal passing score unless the employer gives one directly.

Will You Receive Your Result?

Whether you receive a detailed result, a short status message, or no direct feedback depends on the employer and the assigned report configuration.

Can You Retake Logiks?

Retesting, if available, is employer-controlled. Ask the employer or official assessment contact if retesting matters to your process.

A sensible preparation goal is to improve accuracy and pacing in the three reasoning areas while following the exact live instructions.

Logiks versus Talogy PAPI

PAPI measures workplace personality and preferences. Logiks measures cognitive reasoning. For PAPI boundaries and ethical personality preparation, see Talogy PAPI Test.

Logiks versus SHL Verify

SHL Verify and Logiks are separate publisher families. Do not treat SHL Verify numerical, verbal, or inductive modules as interchangeable with Logiks formats, timing, or scoring.

Logiks versus Criteria CCAT

CCAT is a Criteria assessment commonly described as 50 questions in 15 minutes across mixed cognitive item types. Logiks uses Talogy Intermediate or Advanced configurations with separately timed verbal, numerical, and abstract sections. See Criteria Cognitive Aptitude Test.

Why Do Some Sources Give Different Logiks Numbers?

You may find another Advanced format described as 36 verbal questions in 25 minutes, 20 numerical questions in 25 minutes, and 30 abstract questions in 15 minutes. That standalone module description appears in current practice-site and Talogy marketing material, rather than in the standard three-section Advanced candidate practice page. It may refer to separate ability modules or another configuration.

Do not combine these figures into a fictional universal test. Talogy’s own public overview says formats vary by version. Your invitation may assign a general battery, a specific module, or a locally configured version. Check the assessment title, question counter, section directions, and time limit shown in the live test.

How to Prepare

  1. Confirm whether the invitation says Intermediate, Advanced, General, Verbal, Numerical, or Abstract.
  2. Check the deadline, device requirements, and whether you may use a calculator.
  3. Review the relevant section format, but let the invitation override generic advice.
  4. Complete a timed diagnostic set.
  5. Review every error by cause: reading error, calculation error, missed pattern, or time pressure.
  6. Drill one weaker skill at a time.
  7. Repeat timed mixed practice after the skill work.
  8. On test day, use a quiet location, stable connection, and the permitted device.
  9. Do not use another person, AI, recalled items, or unauthorized aids during the live assessment.
  10. Contact the employer or official support route early if you need an accommodation or have a technical problem.

For candidates who want a larger Talogy-focused bank, timed Talogy Logiks practice on AptitudeTests.org is the primary commercial path on this page. The linked product leads to the Talogy Logiks General Bundle checkout.

Review JobTestPrep’s Cubiks Logiks overview and free samples. For a dedicated Intermediate product path when that is the battery named in your invitation, check JobTestPrep’s Cubiks Logiks Intermediate preparation.

Cubiks Logiks vs Other Tests

Test Main difference
Logiks Talogy cognitive reasoning family with Intermediate and Advanced configurations
Criteria Cognitive Aptitude Test A separate Criteria assessment, often known as CCAT
SHL Verify A separate SHL assessment range; check your invitation for the exact module and format
Cognitive Aptitude Tests Broader category containing many providers and formats
PAPI Talogy work-related personality questionnaire, not a Logiks reasoning test

Do not prepare for an assessment based only on a broad label such as “cognitive test.” The provider and exact module affect the interface, question mix, time limit, calculator rules, and reporting.

Common Logiks Preparation Mistakes

  • assuming every Logiks test has the same question count;
  • treating historic Cubiks branding as proof that all old screenshots are current;
  • combining standalone module figures with a general battery;
  • spending too long on a single four-minute-section question;
  • using outside knowledge for a text-only inference question;
  • calculating more than the question asks;
  • looking for one rule before checking for alternating or simultaneous rules;
  • relying on unofficial pass-score claims;
  • treating practice-provider reports as Talogy reports;
  • using unauthorized help during a live assessment.

Official Talogy Resources

These official pages support the provider identity, ability areas, available levels, and common candidate practice structures. The employer invitation remains the authority for your assigned assessment.

Do not assume. Calculator permission depends on the assigned assessment and live instructions.

No. Logiks measures reasoning ability. PAPI is a work-related personality and preference assessment.

Are these official Cubiks questions?

No. They are original educational questions designed to practise verbal, numerical, and abstract reasoning methods.

Does paid practice guarantee a job offer or passing score?

No. Third-party preparation can help build familiarity and timed-practice habits, but it cannot guarantee a score, interview, or employment outcome.
